The ingredients needed to cook Walnut kernel barfi:
- Take 2 Cup Walnut kernel
- Use 2 cup light hot milk
- Use 4 spoon Country ghee
- Take 200 gm mawa(homemade)
- Take 3 cup sugar
- Prepare 1 tesp Cardamom powder
- Get 1 teasp red food color
- Prepare Slightly chopped almonds
Instructions to make Walnut kernel barfi:
- First of all, sock the walnut kernel in light hot milk 1 hours since. Now grind the Walnuts in the mixer grinder coarsely.
- I have also extracted mawa at home. I have extracted almost 200gm. Now heat ghee in a pan and add ground kernel to it and roast it on a low flame for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Now add the remaining milk and 2cups of milk to the kernel and cook it on low gas for 5 minutes. The gas will not accelerate at all Or else it will stick in the pan.
- Now add mawa and sugar to it and mix well.
- Now add red food color and mix it. Then turn off the gas and mix Cardamom powder.
- Now put a little ghee in the mold and put the Prepared Sweet in it and set it with the help of a spoon then add chopped almonds on top.
- Now we will cut it into chocar shape so our walnut kernel barfi is ready.
Drain the soaking water and rinse the walnuts well. Combine the sugar, milk powder, milk and nutmeg powder in a microwave safe bowl and keep aside.
