The ingredients needed to make Watermelon halwa:
  1. Prepare 3-4 tbsp watermelon rind
  2. Prepare 2-3 tbsp ghee
  3. Get 1 tbsp sooji
  4. Take 1 tbsp besan(gram flour)
  5. You need 1/2 cup sugar
  6. Get 1 cup milk
  7. Use 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  8. Prepare handful Chopped dry fruit ( almonds and Cashew)for garnishing
Instructions to make Watermelon halwa:
  1. Cut the rind on both edges and peel off green skin so that the white skin underneath shows.slice the rind into small pieces
  2. Put them in a grinder and make a puree.In a pan heat ghee add suni and besan roast on low flame till it turns brown add the water melon puree and stir on high flame till the water dries up
  3. Add sugar and stir add cardamom powder then pour milk and cook add chopped Dryfruits take it out in a serving bowl and garnish with dryfruits and serve

Then again peel another layer just beneath the green layer. Roughly chop the rind and add it to a grinder and make into a paste without using any water. Heat a pan and melt ghee. Grate watermelon rind and set it aside. (The white part of the watermelon need to be grated). Heat ghee in a pan on medium flame and add watermelon rind.
