The ingredients needed to prepare Sauteed Tuna and Yamaimo with Basil Pesto:
- Prepare 150 grams Tuna (sashimi grade)
- Take 70 grams Yamaimo
- Get 1 tbsp of each ★Soy sauce, white wine
- Provide 1 tsp Olive oil
- Provide 1 clove Sliced garlic
- Use 2 heaping tablespoons ※Basil pesto
- Use 1 tbsp ※White wine
- You need 1 Black pepper
- Take 1 Finely sliced and sauteed lotus root or watercress for garnish
Instructions to make Sauteed Tuna and Yamaimo with Basil Pesto:
- Dice the tuna and yamaimo into 1.5 cm cubes, marinate with a mixture of ★ ingredients and let sit for approximately 30 minutes.
- Drain the excess marinade.
- Add the ※ ingredients to the marinade.
- Add olive oil and sliced garlic to the frying pan and heat over a low heat until the flavour of garlic is infused in the oil. Turn up the heat and saute the tuna and yamaimo.
